Plate cooler has the characteristics of high heat exchange efficiency, small heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small floor area, wide application, and long service life. The following editor shares the installation method of the plate cooler

Assembly steps of plate cooling:

1. Carefully read the accompanying documents (certificate of conformity, material certificate, flow chart, assembly drawing, packing list, etc.)

2. Check whether the materials of plates, nozzles, and gaskets are consistent with the corrosion resistance requirements of the medium in the heat exchanger.

3. According to the drawings, check whether all parts are complete, and whether the models and dimensions comply with the drawings.

4. Wipe the gasket groove of the plate clean, evenly apply adhesive, and affix the gasket. Then stack the plates neatly together and press a certain amount of weight on them.

5. Assemble according to the designed flow chart and clamp according to the specified sequence. When clamping, pay attention to tightening the nuts in sequence.

6. The hydraulic test shall be conducted separately on one side. The test pressure shall be 1.25 times the design pressure of the equipment, and the pressure shall be maintained for 30 minutes. Check all sealing and welding parts, and it is qualified if there is no leakage.

Precautions and installation essentials:

1. Pay attention to the center of the equipment during lifting.

2. When bonding gaskets, it is necessary to ensure that there are no impurities such as sand, oil, iron filings, and soldering flux on the gasket and in the gasket groove of the plate to avoid damaging the seal and causing leakage

3. When tightening the bolts, the force should be uniform, and the distance between the inner sides of the two pressing plates should be continuously measured to ensure that the parallelism deviation between the two pressing plates is not greater than 3mm. Clamp to the specified size and achieve the corresponding parallelism to prevent the gasket from being pressed or sliding out of the gasket groove. At the same time, while clamping, carefully inspect to see if there are any errors in gaskets or plates.

4. The liquid used for hydraulic testing is generally water. The water temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃, and the pressure should be slowly increased during the test. After the test is completed, appropriately loosen the compression nut to drain the accumulated water, then tighten the nut and clamp it to the original size for use.

5. A certain maintenance space should be reserved around the plate heat exchanger, and its size is related to the size of the plate.

6. Clamping bolts should be coated with butter, and if conditions permit, protective tubes should be installed to prevent rust and thread damage.

7. If the maximum outlet pressure of the pump is greater than the maximum operating pressure of the equipment, it is necessary to install a pressure reducing valve and a safety valve at the inlet of the equipment.

8. When the equipment is filled with liquid and under pressure, it is not allowed to clamp the nut
